From a young age, I can remember having multiple nightly dreams – some incredible, others startling, but all were vivid. In graduate school I had the great fortune of meeting and studying under Jeremy Taylor [link to www.jeremytaylor.com]. He taught me how simple, exciting and beautiful it is to work with dreams. We spend a third of our day sleeping and it makes sense to unlock and ultimately use the material from our dreams. Through my education with Mr. Taylor at [name of school and link, if applicable] and other respected professors, I learned to walk with and talk with my dreams.
My personal struggles with a variety of health issues also influence how I work with you. When 28-years-old and pregnant, I suffered hyperemisis gravidarum (HG) [link to medical definition], which means I experienced chronic morning sickness. Unfortunately, the medical profession did not understand the illness as it does today and there was little help made available to me. As my pregnancy progressed, I became increasingly ill and developed autoimmune issues that affected my digestion. After learning I had Celiac’s disease [link to medical definition], I analyzed my overall health, healing options and food choices. It became evident that the quality of what I eat, as well as the circumstances and environment, also impacted my health. Since then, I continue ongoing nutrition education.
In addition, my professional life equips me with a unique perspective of career paths and their impact on your well-being. With more than 35 years of management and human resources experiences across multiple industries, I have an in-depth understanding of the required educational, professional and personal commitments. I recruit and hire most positions existing in the corporate world which familiarizes me with salaries, position-specific stress, and the perks or associated lifestyle of various career options. Bridging all this with my passion for serving people has led many of my clients to experience career-defining moments and personal epiphanies.
